Kentucky Fried Chicken orKFC franchise, is one of the world's leading fast food restaurant chain. With over 20,000 stores worldwide, KFC's chicken can be availed by about everyone from the busiest city streets to the remotest inhabited islands of the earth. Our famous trade secret, the 11 herbs and spices original chicken recipe launched our way to the top and helped us remain there ever since.
KFC's faithful adherence to Colonel Sander's recipe is what distinguishes us from other restaurant chains. The chicken that our fathers and their fathers have enjoyed in the past is the same chicken that is prepared by KFC today. Our love for this chicken recipe is what motivates us in improving our services which have led to a great number of awards KFC have received for many years. The most recent was the "Gold for Excellence in Consumer Insights/Market Research" and "Silver for Excellence in Direct Marketing" in the 2014 Marketing Excellence Award. It is not an exaggeration when we say that everyone loves KFC. Wherever you go and in whatever continent you may be, a KFC is there to satisfy your hunger. That is why it is a perfect and always ripe for a franchise. The return of investment is just undeniably high considering the number of loyal customers around the globe.
Training and support provided
Aspiring franchisees need not worry on things other than the initial financial investment as KFC has designated teams to provide franchisees with the training and support that they needed. The franchisees as well as their managers and employees are required to attend the initial training program that lasts for about 7 weeks, with classes ranging from eight to ten hours per day. Moreover, franchisees should take the online Learning Zone courses for all the job roles in the restaurant. This is to ensure that the franchisee is equipped with the skills of every worker in the shop. Other programs available to the franchisee are the YUM Funding Financing Program, YUM Minority Lending Assistance Program and the Wells Fargo Equipment Financing Program.
The ideal KFC franchisee
Though already one of the biggest restaurant chains, KFC is still expanding to new territories. We are still looking for outstanding people who are business-oriented, people-skilled and success-driven. Interested franchisees need an initial investment ranging from £1,000,000 to £2,000,000 including but not limited to the real property, building and site costs, start-up inventory, licenses, training expenses and application fees. Location is subject to approval from our development team but the payment is included in the aforementioned calculation. This way, all KFC branches are on par with the standards of quality set by Sanders.
KFC's history
Harland Sanders - or most commonly known as Colonel Sanders, started frying chicken in a Kentucky gas station in late 1930's. By 1950's he first started franchising the chicken in Salt Lake City, Utah and labeling the store as Kentucky Fried Chicken. Today, there are more than 18,000 KFC restaurants in over 118 countries worldwide.
