About Rocket's
Franchise
Ireland’s hamburger specialist, Rocket Restaurants provide a fast-casual service that expertly balances convenience with quality. They use premium ingredients with all-natural Irish meat that is always fresh, never frozen. Delicious meals are made-to-order with a 6-minute order-service time and can be enjoyed in the upscale urban restaurants or picked up by food-runners.
Rocket Restaurants present two brands for franchise business opportunities: Rocket’s and Eddie Rockets, dependent on location and investment available. The award-winning franchisor provides a wide menu for customers with plenty of great choices for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Its use of Fast Casual as the sole purchasing, warehousing, and distribution group ensured reliable consistency across 2.5 million burgers sold in 2016.
Eddie Rockets restaurants utilise an American retro diner format to provide for customers in high streets, shopping centres, entertainment centres and retail parks. Rocket’s restaurants offer a smaller better-burger format that is also suitable for airports and drive-thrus. Both brands deliver exceptional value to their customers with a €9 average ticket that includes complimentary soda refills, Wi-Fi, and self-service condiments.

Training and support provided
Rocket Restaurants will provide franchisees with assistance and advice during the process of locating suitable premises for new restaurants.
The ideal Rocket's franchisee
The perfect franchisee candidate will be a strong decision-maker with a good head for business. Hospitality or restaurant experience is preferred, but the most important thing is a passion for the Rocket Restaurants brand and the belief that our hamburgers are the best around.
The site requirements cover a range of typical locations from high-profile entertainment centres to cruise ships. A Rocket’s restaurant must have a minimum of 20m2, with an initial investment of €200,000 to €600,000; an Eddie Rockets restaurant must have a minimum of 100m2, with an initial investment of €400,000 to €1.5 million. Rocket Restaurants require a portion of the investment to be non-borrowed, unencumbered liquid capital.
Rocket's' history
Niall Fortune founded Rocket Restaurants in 1989 in Ireland. Today there are 49 restaurants across Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Spain with 27 of them being franchisee-owned. The Rocket Restaurants system is made up of four burger brands: Eddie Rockets, Rocket’s, The Counter Burger (operated under franchise), and Flash Harrys.
As the sole-shareholder and managing director, Niall Fortune exercised his effective vision to reach €55 millions of system-wide sales in 2016, resulting in the Outstanding Growth Award for his company. In 2017, after 25 years of franchising, Rocket Restaurants was named Irish Franchise of the Year.
