Franchisee Perry Wilson recently detailed how his franchise unit is thriving following its official launch at the beginning of June.

The Party Tent Company Newcastle enjoyed a soft launch in May via the establishment of its new Instagram account. On day one, two enquiries came in, and one of them turned into a sale. Perry’s franchise was then fully launched on June 1st, and has since managed to secure £4,000 in deposits alone.

Of his early success, Perry was overjoyed, saying, “We are still in COVID restrictions right now, and we started halfway through the year, [but] I’m confident enough to say that within the first year, from June to the end of December, we will make enough money to get all of our money back out and into our pockets, so that next year, everything is 100% profit.”

For franchisees with the events franchise, the sales process happens in four stages. At the first stage, the franchise receives an enquiry via phone, social media or its website. At the second stage, potential customers are encouraged to look at pricing and packages to find the right option for their needs. Then, once a package is decided upon, stage three begins, and a franchisee attends the intended site of the event/party to measure up and check that the customer’s chosen option will fit. Finally, at stage four, the sale is confirmed.

The process is swift, simple and often successful. According to Perry, “Whilst I’m there [with the customer], if they’re happy to go ahead, I will tell them I’m going to send them an invoice that night.” To secure a tent, customers must make a £100 deposit, and the final settlement is due on the day of the event/party, once the tent has been erected and the customer is satisfied.
