The Incredible Ice Cream Company helped a local fire service raise awareness of fire safety with delicious sweet treats.
In early April, the food and beverage franchise gave its time and delicious ice cream to a fantastic cause in Wolverhampton. Wolverhampton Fire Service and a local housing authority had teamed up to promote fire safety to residents in one of the city’s high-rise flat buildings.
Local firefighters were on hand to answer questions from residents, such as how to evacuate a tall building safely in the event of a fire.To make sure as many people as possible came along, The Incredible Ice Cream company came along to hand out tempting soft-serve treats.
While the topic of fire isn’t the most pleasant one, the addition of an ice cream van from the franchise certainly helped to sweeten the day. And as a thank you for their hard work and the sacrifices they make for the community, Wolverhampton’s firefighters were able to get stuck into a bit of delicious vanilla once their work was done.
The technicolour ice cream float attracted plenty of attention from passersby. Those that stopped to indulge in a treat were able to serve themselves a cone of Madagascan vanilla, topped with sauce, sprinkles and a big old flake. The franchise loved bringing the community together for such a vital cause and injecting a bit of brightness into an otherwise ordinary day.
Learning about an incredibly important topic and getting to enjoy a frozen treat made it something to remember for all. The smiles on the faces of kids and big kids alike said it all - it’s really never too cold for ice cream!
