TaxAssist Market Harborough finally enjoys its official shop opening

Though the franchise location was opened on May 17th by franchisee Paul Simpson, COVID restrictions have delayed the opening event until now.

Paul has finally been able to enjoy his official launch, though he’d already been welcomed into the TaxAssist network in May, and he recently invited clients, contacts and colleagues alike to celebrate the launch of TaxAssist Market Harborough. The Chairman of Harborough District Council, Stephen Bilbie, attended and was responsible for the official ribbon cutting.

Discussing his franchising journey thus far with the bookkeeping and accounting franchise, Paul said, “Having opened the shop on May 17th 2021, amid COVID-19 restrictions, I thought it safer to have the official shop opening later in the year. This also allowed me to build my network of connections and invite my clients to join in the celebrations. The event was very well attended, with over 35 business connections and clients enjoying a few hours of networking, drinks, nibbles.” 

“While it has been a challenge to get the shop up and running, it has been made an even greater pleasure hy the help and support of a great many people, including the TaxAssist Accountants Support Centre. They have been incredibly supportive and nothing has been too much trouble.”

Paul is excited to continue his journey and grow his TaxAssist location to truly become a part of the local community. He’s already involved in many local initiatives, and expresses that he aims to “continue to support local businesses” and local charities. He’s also planning on announcing a slate of free seminars before the end of the year, which will range widely in terms of topic and be open for clients and non-clients to attend.
