TaxAssist Accountants has used its finance and accounting expertise to help its franchisees and their clients understand the 2021 Budget.

The Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rishi Sunak, revealed his second Budget on Wednesday 3rd March - and bookkeeping and accounting franchise TaxAssist Accountants provided a handy summary on the same day.

As part of the information package, the company provided a personalised website page allowing franchisees to share the news with their clients and other contacts. And throughout the day, the franchise’s support centre team posted live updates to its Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn pages.

Plus, over the next few days, the team will be publishing even more guidance in its Budget Reports Hub across franchisees’ social media profiles. Expect to find out more about the extended furlough scheme, Self-employment Income Support Scheme and new Recovery Loan Scheme.

There’s even a client-facing webinar scheduled for Tuesday 9th March, which will outline the Budget in more detail.

James Mattam, the franchise’s Group Business Development Director, said:

“The support centre team pulled out all the stops to ensure we delivered bespoke Budget commentary in a timely and efficient manner for the benefit of both the accountants in our network and their clients. This Budget was hugely important for business owners across the UK to understand how the government is going to support them as we come out of lockdown and get the economy firing on all cylinders once again.

“We emailed the Budget summary to over 77,000 clients on behalf of franchisees, leaving them free to concentrate on running their practices.”
