This year’s TaxAssist Accountants conference took place in the great outdoors at Centre Parcs.
Last month, TaxAssist Accountants invited its franchisees to Bedfordshire to take part in a few days of networking and relaxation. The event, which was designed to both energise and inform, featured a combination of workshops, audio pods and partying.
All franchisees took part in discussion ranging on a number of different topics relevant to the industry. These included winning business through technology, making the most of software, tax planning and cyber security.
Serious talk was followed the next evening with a night of revelry. Franchisees got the chance to socialise with their network at an enchanted forest party, which featured entertainment courtesy of the dance troupe ‘LED Dancers’ and the internationally known ‘Urban Soul Orchestra’.
Aberdeen based franchisee Steven Mearns attended the conference with his colleague Cameron Allan. He had this to say about the successful event: “I just wanted to say a huge ‘thank you’ and ‘well done’ to the team for the amazing Conference weekend”.
“Being our first Conference, Cameron and I weren’t sure what to expect but the event really delivered. The highest compliment I can give is that we have already decided that regardless of the cost and logistics we will bring our whole team to the next one as we can now see the value it will add”.
Meanwhile, Luiza Polec, Senior Accountant and Practice Manager at Pudsey and Horsforth TaxAssist Accountants, loved the balance that the event struck between work and play:
“The set up and entertainment on Saturday evening was spectacular, so far the best most of us have seen! Friday afternoon and Saturday morning were informative, refreshing and we loved the relaxed atmosphere”.
