The UK’s market leader for delicious Greek street food was recently featured in the magazine, and referred to by What Franchise as “the Hercules of franchising”.
In a ‘Behind the Brand’ piece of partner content, What Franchise wrote an in-depth profile of the restaurant franchise. In the words of the magazine, “Street Greek is enjoying a rather tasty niche in the market. The brand’s ethos of ‘modern flavours with ancient values’ is attracting an increasing number of hungry customers from all demographics across London. With new stores opening every month across the capital in premium locations, this exciting new brand is now set to target nationwide expansion in 2022.”
What Franchise went on to detail Street Greek’s attitude to food, which essentially boils down to: Made slow, served fast. Director of Operations Theo Panayiotou was also quoted, saying, “Most ingredients are sourced directly from Greece with the established and stable supply chain being one of Street Greek’s unique and fundamental strengths.”
Franchisor and owner Kristina Koncova also spoke on the growing brand. She said, “We spend a lot of time in food development. It is vital to our specialised offering. We cure our food and recipes to high standards [and] pride ourselves on all the positive feedback from our loyal customers.” Plus, the franchise uses marketing and branding to stand out from the crowd. In Kristina’s words, “We love interacting with our customers through all our social media channels which we use effectively to engage customers.”
