This video follows the journey of Amy, the owner of Acacia Homecare in Stockport and Manchester.

Amy recounts her path into the homecare industry, beginning with her early experiences in care and managing care homes. She steadily progressed through her career to a directorial level, ultimately leading her to establish her own company. Amy chose to become an Acacia Homecare franchisee as their values resonated deeply with her, particularly their emphasis on staff support and providing exceptional care to individuals in their homes.

Amy was also drawn to the franchise's comprehensive support, which encompassed marketing, branding, and operational assistance, areas she found particularly challenging. The franchise model allowed her the autonomy to manage her own care company while still receiving the necessary guidance from the franchisor. She commends the unwavering support from Acacia Homecare, highlighting the assistance provided during the initial setup phase, including business development planning, policy establishment, branding, and marketing strategies. Regular check-ins and visits were also an integral part of the support system.

Looking ahead, Amy's vision for the next five years is to cultivate a high-quality homecare company. She intends to expand her team within Stockport and Manchester, establish satellite offices to support teams in different areas, and build a strong reputation in the region. Amy acknowledges the challenges of owning a franchise, including the demands of long hours and stress, but affirms the profound fulfillment it brings. She concludes by offering sage advice to aspiring franchise owners, emphasizing the importance of securing sufficient funding, managing cash flow effectively, and finding a company that aligns with their values.
