Signorini Tartufi has joined forces with Point Franchise to find brand new investors for its concept store business model.

The delicatessen and luxury goods retailer was established by Frédéric Dubois Signorini to bring affordable truffle products to the market. The founder has his Tuscan and Sicilian grandparents to thank for his passion for food. After 30 years of working in the marketing sector, he decided to start a business.

Although the truffle has been considered a luxury product for a long time, Frédéric made it his mission to create an affordable product. He believed the delicious foodstuff should be available to everyone, from passionate home cooks to professional chefs. The truffle specialist business sold everything from sauces, spreads and oils to luxury gifts and whole truffles. It even created a range of corporate gifts and truffle accessories.

The business model proved so popular, Frédéric was able to open more than 30 stores in under two years. The majority are located in city centres or busy shopping centres with plenty of passing trade.

Now, the retail franchise is on the lookout for its future franchisees to launch Signorini Tartufi stores in new locations. Investors don’t need any industry experience or specific qualifications, as the business runs training for every new recruit. You don’t even need an in-depth knowledge of your chosen location, so you can open additional franchise units in different regions as time goes on.

So, if you’re a self-motivated entrepreneur with experience in a management position, you could be the next Signorini Tartufi franchisee. You’ll need a thorough understanding of managing finances and the ability to manage customer and staff relationships.

Before you sign on the dotted line, you’ll get to spend a day in a Signorini Tartufi store to make sure you’re making the right decision. If you choose to go ahead, you’ll then get the chance to complete a one-week training course covering everything from product lines to sales training and using the cash register.
