The coffee van franchise continues its growth and expansion in 2022, and its most recent location is found in Langlands Commercial Park.

The exciting news was shared by Project Scotland in early January: KNIGHT Property Group had been able to secure a further tenant for Phase 1 of Langlands Commercial Park, East Kilbride, and Really Awesome Coffee had agreed to a 10 year lease. The article stated, “Mobile catering franchise company, Really Awesome Coffee Company Lanarkshire (part of Anzada and Co Ltd), has agreed a ten-year lease on Unit A, which extends to 2,500 sq ft, plus car parking. The company offers mobile coffee services alongside a deli-style lunch offering. It is also available for events.”

The article also detailed that the coffee van franchise’s Lanarkshire branch “is owned and managed by barista John Pritchard and his wife Maria”. They were able to grow and diversify their business, even during lockdown, as they “started promoting home deliveries to run alongside their daily visits to key worker locations”.

Knight Property Group, the organisation behind Landlands, is thrilled to have Really Awesome Coffee on board. Howard Crawshaw, the company’s director, said, “It is encouraging to secure a further tenant at Langlands. Really Awesome Coffee is a great addition to the park and we wish John and Maria every success with their growing business. As a company, we are committed to continuing to invest speculatively in key locations, with quality space. We are currently developing the next phase at Langlands, which will consist of a 23,980 sq ft industrial unit, scheduled for completion this April.”

If you’d like to carve out your own space within the growing Really Awesome Coffee network, you can become a franchisee for a minimum initial investment of £6,500, with franchise fees of £19,950 and a total investment cost of £69,000.
