Really Awesome Coffee franchisee Jason Simmons has spoken about how the franchise has helped him launch a successful business after being made redundant.
After leaving his job at a coffee vending company, Jason remembered seeing a Really Awesome Coffee vehicle previously and decided to join the franchise himself. He got in touch with the founder, Kevin Haswell, and booked onto a virtual Discovery Day.
Now, Jason’s unit has been up and running since October. He said,
“Learning to run a business is very daunting and complex. I had lots of questions for Kevin and he has the patience of a saint. The initial support that I have received from the team, along with the direct contact with Kevin, has made each step of the process so much easier and less stressful.”
Jason was able to rely on support from the coffee van franchise’s head office team. Franchise Development Manager Laura Tonks accompanied him during the business’s first two weeks. And Operations Manager Greg was on hand to answer questions about ordering from suppliers and using the franchise’s unique RAPoS system.
The franchisee has spoken about the progress he’s made so far:
“I am getting feedback like ‘your coffee tastes lovely’, ‘wow what a selection of food you have!’ or ‘the van looks amazing’ and this makes me feel really proud.”
Jason has also spoken fondly about his introduction to the business.
