Radfield Home Care sets its sights on first franchise in the East Midlands

The home care business has announced its first franchise partners in the East Midlands.

Within the next few months, Sam and Jon Adie will launch their very own Radfield Home Care franchise in Derbyshire. It will soon provide premier home care services to residents in Derby, Ashbourne and South Derbyshire.

The husband and wife team are formerly an engineering director and PA respectively and have always shared a passion to provide care services. But this desire peaked when they struggled to find a high-quality home care provider for Jon’s parents.

Jon explained:

“Having had a bad experience finding care for mum and dad, who were being failed by the system, the realisation set in very quickly that there were a lot of poor-quality home care providers, and being so far away to help and support made this extremely difficult. This has driven the need to want to make a difference in the care sector and raise the quality and standards of care provided. I feel it’s really important to make sure that older people are made more aware of their choices.”

After considering a number of home care franchise opportunities, they decided that Radfield Home Care was the right one for them. They particularly liked the values that came along with it being a family-owned company and the fact that they could have a more personal experience with the stage it’s currently at.

Sam praised their franchising experience:

The couple have recently completed part two of Radfield’s 20-day franchise partner training programme, the Radfield Runway. On top of this, they can make the most of a support team with specialisms in marketing, recruitment, compliance and more.

The ambitious pair have also just acquired their office in the Revive Healthy Living Centre in Derby.
