A Radfield Home Care franchise business based in North Yorkshire is celebrating after winning an Employer of the Year award.
The home care franchise unit, which covers Harrogate, Wetherby and North Yorkshire, was thrilled to be named the top employer in the Harrogate Excellence in Business Awards this month. The judges were on the lookout for companies demonstrating an interest in looking after its employees. They explained,
“A genuine commitment to, and trust in, its people leads to success in business.”
The Radfield Home Care branch was praised for its “pre-eminent commitment to the development and welfare of its people, by encouraging communication, creativity and proactivity throughout the organisation”.
After announcing the shortlisted organisations, the awards body was forced to delay the ceremony as a result of the pandemic, which eventually took place online. Matthew Nutting, Co-Director of the winning franchise unit, said the success was down to the entire team of staff:
