Post & Packing has shared its online business guide to support those who are interested in becoming their own boss from the comfort of their sofa.
At a time when most of us are confined within the four walls of our homes, Post & Packing is helping people launch their own profitable enterprise. The courier and delivery franchise published the informative guide on its Facebook page, where it often posts updates about the business and useful resources.
Post & Packing explained,
“The internet is a great facilitator of business success – but, with so much competition, working out how to start an online business isn’t easy. Whether entrepreneurial spirit is something that naturally comes to you or not, it’s possible to generate success online. All you need is a bit of expert know-how.”
The franchise broke down its guide into five key steps.
Firstly, Post & Packing suggests you “find a need”. There’s no point joining a huge pool of similar businesses unless you’re going to fill a gap in the market. Find a way to add real value before you start a business.
Secondly, you’ll need to create an easy-to-use website, where you can “build a brand image, offer products and add other web services”, like blogs.
The next step is developing a customer base. Create social media profiles and explore SEO techniques to drive traffic to your business.
Then, you should ask for reviews and feedback. You can use sites like Trustpilot, Google Local, LinkedIn, TripAdvisor and Yelp to rack up positive testimonials and encourage other people to become customers at your business.
Finally, the franchise explains how budding entrepreneurs can use its services to take care of their postal needs. If you operate online, you’ll probably need to send items to your customers and it’s important they’re delivered quickly and efficiently.
