Papa Johnís is ensuring that its network of UK franchisees is operating at its very best with a new, dedicated UK Supply Chain Director.

Papa Johnís is making sure that its UK operations are running at maximum efficiency by appointing a UK Supply Chain Director who will dedicate their time to overseeing the countryís operations alone. Robert Taylor has racked up more than 20 yearsí experience in the food and drink industry, making him the ideal candidate to take on the important role.

Taylor explained why itís so important to have a someone dedicated to managing the pizza franchiseís UK supply chain.

ďUp until now, the Papa Johnís team has managed the supply chain as part of a bigger geographical area which included Russia, Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. As the company has grown, it has become necessary to have a dedicated regional resource to maximise opportunities and help franchisees grow their businesses in the UK.Ē

Speaking about his new role, Taylor said:

ďMy remit is wide reaching and I will be looking at all aspects of the store model and corporate organisation to deliver cost savings and efficiencies which can help to strengthen the Papa Johnís franchise model and therefore our franchiseesí bottom line and ROI. I am excited to be joining Papa Johnís at this time in the companyís development. It is a fantastic opportunity to influence the growth of an international brand to help the company and its franchisees build on what has been achieved so far and facilitate the companyís future expansion.Ē

Taylorís past achievements include helping competitor Pizza Hut improve its ROI (return on investment) across its supply chain and helping Creams Cafť expand from 29 to 90 stores by implementing a hub and spoke distribution system. Itís hoped he can achieve great things in his new role at Papa Johnís.
