With Ovenclean already boasting the title of the original oven-cleaning business in the UK, one franchisee stepped up by winning in the latest Great British Franchisee Awards. Dean and Amy Wilson have been working hard in this industry for several years. With the award behind their name, they now have the ambition to serve a higher purpose.
Dean attributes the award to how hard his franchise has worked these past few years to increase clients and improve services. The business has acquired new vehicles, and him and Amy are looking to obtain more. They’ve even roped family into the work, expanding the team to meet the new demands.
After winning the award for Ovenclean, Dean explains the plans going forward:
“We want to be the biggest franchise Ovenclean has, and we’re fairly sure we’re the biggest oven-cleaning operation locally. We’d like to grow it further, and I know it’s feasible as there’s such a fantastic demand for the service. Ideally, we’d hope to add an extra van to our operation every two years.”
The only catch with winning the award and becoming so popular in the UK is that the customers keep growing. Ovenclean recently indicated that the number of enquiries for oven-cleaning services has doubled across franchises. Dean has indicated that they’ve had to stop accepting new orders to try and focus on the current demand, which is relatively high already.
That means the doors are wide open for new franchisees to step in and rake in the profits from the high demand for these services. There’s plenty of support and training, and you’ll be able to grow your own customer base. The bigger your team and fleet, the more you’ll be able to attend to the requests.
