Nicholas Humphreys held a successful session that illuminated the tricky world of advertising for its franchisees.

Nicholas Humphreys invited its franchisees along to learn more about how they can increase revenue and get their names out into the community at its first Advertising Levy AGM Meeting of 2019.

The property franchise hosted a day of workshops and discussion for its franchisees and head office team members in York, which was followed by an evening of fun and food. The session filled franchisees in on improvements and amendments that have been made to the Nicholas Humphreys website and showed them exciting new developments for 2019, including new long term marketing strategies and upgrades to the website.

The session also discussed the upcoming implementation of the tenant fees ban, which will stop letting agencies charging their tenants high admin fees, and how to ensure income doesn’t drop following this. It covered areas including how franchisees can increase brand awareness in their local communities, how to lower costs through increased service efficiency and looked at things that competitors are doing well that could be implemented throughout the business.

One franchisee commented that the meeting provided "great ideas for the tenant fee ban,” and added that it was brilliant to have the opportunity to discuss ideas and experiences with other franchisees. Another reiterated this by saying,

“I always find the group training days, HQ support days and conferences motivational. It's great to discuss ideas with fellow franchisees."

After a busy day trading ideas, the attendees had the chance to take part in a fun escape room challenge. Although none of the three groups managed to bust their way out of the puzzle-based rooms, a great time was had by all and everyone was treated to a tasty dinner afterwards.

The next full franchise network open forum will be held in the autumn and until then Nicholas Humphreys will aim to interact with all of its franchisees at least once a quarter to make sure they’re happy and successful.
