Minuteman Press swears by Drytac Polar Premium to create high-quality window displays.
Bath-based hair salon, Material, reveals a new window display every month using graphics printed by Minuteman Press. The display supplier was formerly a high-street print shop, but according to Kieran Blacknell, Large Format Manager at Minuteman Press, the franchise has grown into a “One-stop-shop for all things graphic communications.”
The monthly display project features graphics that follow a seasonal theme. The salon uses these eye-catching graphics to stand out among its competitors and add some colour to the street. Minuteman Press looks forward to seeing what the designer comes up with every month.
For the effective installation of window displays, the sign franchise needed a strong and durable product that performs all year round. Kieran explains that Drytac Polar Premium was recommended to the company by Drytac distributor Antalis. He added, “The salon is on a busy road and is exposed to the elements, so it was important for us to use something strong. We tried using low-tac solutions but as the weather got colder, the adhesives started to fail, which is not an issue with Drytac Polar.”

Kieran revealed that due to Drytac Polar Premium’s reliability and versatility, the Minuteman Press now uses the adhesive for the majority of its vinyl installations. He added, “Using Polar for more jobs has highlighted issues with our previous vinyl media choices; production times and overall product quality have benefited. We also use Drytac SpotOn for floor graphics and we're always looking for ways we can use other Drytac products in the future."
