Alex Thompson shares insights into his franchise partner journey with Platinum Property Partners.
Franchisee Alex Thompson joined Platinum Property Partners in September 2018. With a 20-year career in residential property behind him, Alex was eager to change the direction of his professional life, so he decided to take the next step and become a Platinum Property Partners franchisee.
But why did he choose to invest in the estate agent and property franchise when he already had a wealth of experience in the industry? One of the reasons is speed. Alex has managed to set up three HMOs in 15 months, something he believes wouldn’t have been possible to achieve on his own.
Alex adds that the cost savings he has made also justify the franchise investment. He explains that you spend quite a bit of money refurbishing the houses and, if you get something wrong, it can be expensive and time consuming to correct. But having mentors at Platinum Property Partners that guide you through the process and help you to avoid the pitfalls is “an amazing economy”.
Alex says that he is on track to where he’d hoped to be, but didn’t expect to be. This is thanks to his hard work and unrivalled support of the franchise network.
In three years time, Alex plans on setting up five HMOs. And, if the last 15 months are anything to go by, the franchise is confident he will achieve this goal.
