Inspired by the flavours of South America, Las Iguanas is bringing some samba to diner’s plates this summer.
Since the 2nd April, Las Iguana’s restaurants across the UK have been serving up a new selection of Brazilian, Argentinian and Peruvian tastes. The fresh variety of menu items include exotic starters, spicy tapas and vibrant main dishes.
Taking diners on a culinary tour of South America, customers can kick their meals off with a crunch by opting for crispy Mexican Papadums. Chicharonnes, a crispy pork crackling dish dusted with a chilli seasoning, are now also on offer as a starter.
On the tapas front, customers can enjoy shredded duck tacos that come with caramelised onion and a kickin’ cranberry salsa. For the vegetarians amongst the crowd, Las Iguanas has also unveiled crispy cauliflower tacos which are available in grilled corn and flour or grilled blue tortillas.
Moving on to the main course, burrito bowls have made their grand entrance at the nation’s favourite Latin American restaurant. Stacked with spring onion rice, black beans and fresh sliced avocado, this dish is guaranteed to become a customer favourite.
Those feeling a bit more Peruvian can tuck into the Bonita Enslada. Featuring fresh tomatoes, exotic radishes and zesty chilli and lime seasoning, this is a vegetarian dish that puts the Caesar salad to shame. There’s also the moreish Truffle Mac and Cheese to enjoy, a Peruvian speciality that is seasoned with Amarillo chilli and a dose of white truffle oil.
