Dunkiní Donuts steps into the future
Dunkiní Donuts has opened up a futuristic store that will allow customers to order before they even get to the branch.
A new Dunkiní Donuts location is making it easier than ever for customers to get their hands on its signature sweet treats.
The so-called ĎNext Generationí store in Knoxville, Tennessee will allow customers to pre-order their food and drinks on the donut franchiseís app, before picking them up at its drive-thru or walk-up hatches. The innovative new strategy has been adopted by the location to try and reduce queues at its stores and allow customers to get their hands on some of Dunkiní delicious donuts or refreshing coffees without delay.
The store has moved across the street from its previous location and is part of the next generation of Dunkiní Donuts stores that will soon be unveiled across America. There are lots of options for customers to choose from, including a coffee bar with an incredible eight taps offering up original, cold brew, dark roast, decaf and the bubbly nitro coffee. Other drinks include a new range of fruity iced teas and a range of frozen drinks inspired by flavours of classic Girl Scout cookies.
In addition to the franchiseís world-famous donuts, there will be other snack options on the menu. These include Dunkinís breakfast menu, which features veggie egg white wraps, turkey sausage wraps and a lower calories DDSmart sandwich for those looking to grab a healthy option on the go.
President Dave Baumgartner called the new store Ďthe future of Dunkiní Donutsí and said that he looks forward to seeing the impact the new locations will have on the brandís success.
Since it was founded in 1950 by Bill Rosenburg, Dunkiní Donuts has been serving up delicious donuts and freshly-brewed coffee to customers across the world. Its estimated that the franchise serves around five million customers every single day and is the worldís leading baked goods and coffee chain.
