Driver Hire is celebrating the renewal of its franchise agreement with one of its most successful franchisee teams.
Driver Hire Sheffield’s franchisees Ian Leadbeater and Robert Leek have just completed the renewal of their franchise agreement for another five years and the pair are hoping the next phase of their franchising journey will be just as successful as the first.
Prior to buying the branch, the pair both worked at nearby Driver Hire Bradford’s office but in 2009 they took the plunge and decided to purchase Driver Hire Sheffield. Since then, they have grown their annual turnover to more than £1 million and have won awards for the strength of their business.
Elisha Bowen, one of the Sheffield branch’s recruitment consultants, was even named as Driver Hire’s Regional Recruitment Consultant of the year in 2018, showing how hard everyone involved has worked to make the location of the business franchise a success.
Speaking about his experience with Driver Hire, Robert said:
“Driver Hire is a great business to be involved with. It’s a great place to work, we have a great team with amazing candidates. Every day is different and there’s not a day we don’t enjoy going into work. The job satisfaction we get from knowing we are helping people locally across South Yorkshire find employment is second to none.”
Ian agreed with Robert, adding:
“We renewed for another five years because of the potential for further growth. Driver Hire as a whole recently won HSBC bfa ‘Franchisor of the Year’ award. This is a great accolade for us. The recent investment in the network with a new database system, a new website, ongoing Driver CPC training and Driver Hire’s Licence Checking service only reinforced the easy decision it was to renew our franchise agreement.”
