Driver Hire has been crowned the worthy winner of ‘Best Website’ at the Franchise Marketing Awards.

Driver Hire has been given one massive reason to celebrate, as it’s been crowned the winner of ‘Best Website’ at the Franchise Marketing Awards. The accolade joins the long list of awards that the business franchise has already taken home and shows once again why its franchise opportunity is so worth investing in.

The franchise launched its new website in May 2018 after an extensive redevelopment project, which involved many of its franchisees to ensure it was as user-friendly as possible. Since it was launched, Driver Hire’s franchisees have benefitted from an uptick in their monthly driver applications, making business so much easier.

Speaking about why the website pipped its competition to the post, the Franchise Marketing Awards judges said:

“This site seamlessly serves two distinct audiences – those looking for staff and those looking for work – helping Driver Hire grow their business.”

Chris Chidley, Chief Executive at Driver Hire, said:

“People are the ‘raw material’ on which franchisees grow their business. For them, our website is a vital business tool; its primary purpose is to attract jobseekers. From a customer perspective the site’s content, imagery and language all combine to make our specialism in transport & logistics absolutely clear. The website delivers an unmistakeable unique selling point for our franchise network.”

He also explained why it’s so important for the franchise to have a great website.

“Analysis shows that 80% of all online applications to Driver Hire franchises are via mobile – perhaps unsurprising given the nature of our workforce,” Chris continues. “So our revamped site is fully responsive and mobile compatible. A single click takes candidates to a list of live job opportunities. Once they’ve created an account, one more click enables them to apply for any job.”
