Driver Hire has congratulated one of its leading franchisee teams on their incredible sales prowess in its annual competition.

Driver Hire has awarded its top team of franchisees for their dedication to driving sales upwards.

The Driver Hire Crewe franchisees, Matt Roberts, Lee Statham and Brad Kerin, picked up the Driver Hire’s National Sales & Recruitment winners’ award for coming first in two of Driver Hire’s annual eight-week competitions.

The events begin with a National Sales Day, a highly competitive event that sees each one of Driver Hire’s 100 offices compete to rack up the highest number of appointments booked in just one day. Over the course of the next eight weeks, the winner of each competition is decided by seeing which franchised business turns enquiry appointments into business, allowing their office to grow.

Driver Hire Crewe have come out on top in two out of the three competitions, with the third and final one coming up later in the year. Speaking about the fantastic win, joint franchisee Lee Statham said:

“It’s all part of an annual incentive across the whole of the Driver Hire network designed to help each of us grow our business. We were also the winners in the first round and, with one round to come in the autumn, we’re going to be pushing hard to be the first office to score a hat-trick!”

Having only become a joint franchisee earlier this year, after spending years as the ambitious office manager, Lee commented on how thrilled he is to see turnover well ahead of the same period last year and competition success already.

“I invested my own money in the business and that does make a massive difference to the passion and approach you bring to your job. Of course, our success to date is a team effort. When it comes to sales, we’ve stuck to the basics; making the calls, following up and then doing face-to-face visits.”

The trio of franchisees were awarded a trophy for their double win, along with a whopping £2,000 prize voucher. Graham Duckworth, Franchise Sales Director at the business franchise commented on the Crewe team’s fantastic achievement.

“National sales competitions are another example of the comprehensive support package we offer to help franchisees develop their business and maximise its potential. Crewe are to be congratulated on their success.”
