DIGI-SPORTS has been able to achieve rapid international growth, despite the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
The concept behind the entertainment franchise was born in 2015, but the company has seen impressive growth in the past two years in particular. Since 2018, it has welcomed more than 50 new investor partners into the network.
To reflect the rapid expansion, and to sustain the business’s productivity, the head office team quickly scaled up recruitment efforts, taking part in franchise shows and meeting potential partners. The team also developed its onboarding process with training and launch support.
Now, the franchise has achieved good coverage across France and has been focussing on international expansion throughout 2020. In particular, it targeted territories in Spain, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Belgium, as well as Israel, UAE and Morocco. Over time, the team developed a strategic approach, earmarking specific markets: eastern Canada, the UK, Germany and the Netherlands.
One of the biggest challenges for the network has been ‘localising’ the concept to make sure it fits with specific territories, and translating all communication material. More recently, it has been preparing for the gradual lifting of coronavirus restrictions. It’s convinced people will want to gather together once again and have a bit of fun - and DIGI-SPORTS can make it happen.
