Century 21 UK jumped a whopping 33 places in the franchise industry league table, making it the UK’s top real estate company.

2020 had been a real challenge for most of the UK’s businesses. Yet for Century 21 UK, the pandemic was a catalyst for success.

Its achievements were noticed by a franchise website, which ranks the leading franchises in the country - putting Century 21 UK as the only property company in the top 80.

For the last 12 months, companies had been unexpectedly hit by the worldwide pandemic. Many struggled to adapt, but that wasn't the case for this innovative estate agent and property franchise. Century 21 UK decided to create a Solo model - which became a life saver for thousands of people who were looking for a career as self-employed agents. It allowed them to work from home and share a platform through which they can continue to keep working with other real estate agents.

The model comes with no fees, meaning that agents can retain up to 75% of the income produced by their sales.

Century 21 UK also created another model called Century 21 flex “which has been created to reflect the dramatic shift in working habits over the past 12 months.”

The franchise explained that this has allowed its franchisees to prioritise their well-being as well as work life – something that has become even more important during the pandemic. A great example of this is the fact that agents that operate remotely are able to choose their own working hours and not pay the high costs of high street offices.

The final franchise package on offer is Century 21 Max, which it describes as “a model well-established within the brand for 50 years, which is the most comprehensive of the three options and follows the more traditional role of high street estate agency franchising.”

The firm ensures all three models are backed up by a support package, including business development and strategy planning assistance, giving each franchisee the best possible chance of succeeding.

Chris Summers, Head of Franchising at Century 21, commented, “This is a great achievement in what has been a challenging 12-months for the industry as a whole. It’s testament to an entire team effort.”
