A Bright & Beautiful investor was inspired to start a cleaning business while working as a hotelier.
When Ben Ward celebrated the birth of his daughter last January, he had over 10 years of experience in the hospitality. At a pivotal time in his life, he took the decision to launch a cleaning business with Bright & Beautiful, taking advantage of the transferable skills he’d collected over the years.
The Sheffield-born entrepreneur explained,
“Hotel hours don’t really work too well with family life and I wanted a change of career in any case.
“After doing some research into franchising, I chose to launch a Bright and Beautiful franchise business simply because it is a more premium brand and would create a number of jobs for the local people. The service they offer is most similar to my experience of working in hotels and I like the emphasis on customer service.”
Since launching his cleaning franchise business, Ben has hired three employees to deliver a high-quality service to customers across Sheffield. The unit will also cover neighbouring areas across South Yorkshire, including Fulwood, Hallam Head, Parkhead, Millhouses, Bents Green, Crosspool, Dore, Dronfield, Crookes and Whirlow.
One of Bright & Beautiful’s biggest selling points is its use of eco-friendly cleaning practices for both domestic and office environments. It can even offer customers laundry and ironing services to allow them more time to focus on more important things.
Ben added:
