Aspray rewarded one hardworking franchisee at its Annual National Conference Awards Dinner.
During the celebratory event, Aspray’s Managing Director James Whittle awarded the Franchisee of the Year 2019 trophy to Richmond-based franchisee Grahame Dean. The lucky recipient runs an Aspray franchise unit with business partner Justin Gudgeon and has been with the business for just two years. But the pair’s commitment to great customer service and business growth has always been clear to see.
The management franchise, which specialises in property repairs and insurance claims, is dedicated to supporting investors to reach their full potential, recognising franchisee successes and celebrating them together.
Dean explained why he and Gudgeon first became interested in starting an Aspray franchise unit:
“Initially, we were attracted by the excellent processes and controls Aspray have in place, as they are directly authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)… The well-qualified claims handling team at head office have a wealth of expertise in understanding insurance and the legal and regulatory requirements of the franchisee’s role, which was very reassuring when we were first starting out.
“However, what really sold the proposition was the Aspray business model, which has been proven time and time again and once again by us!”
Dean even offered some sage advice for budding franchisees, praising the support provided by Aspray’s franchise team:
“During the recruitment process, Aspray arrange for you to speak to several franchisees. My advice would be to listen and take on board what they share with you as their experiences can be hugely beneficial in preparing you for what to expect. If you are willing to put in the time and work hard you will reap the financial rewards from running your own business.”
