art-K is a art education service that teaches art skills to children aged 6 to 18 in term-time classes, after school and on the weekends. These classes follow a proprietary structured programme (the art-K manuals) which is tailored to each child’s development, allowing children to go at their own pace. Clubs are voluntarily Registered with Ofsted which allows payments for the classes to be made by Tax-Free childcare vouchers, increasing access to the classes. During school holidays art-K provides art workshops.

The franchise, which is all about bringing art and colour into the lives of kids, has joined the Point Franchise family.

What’s the art-K mission? Promoting art in our own dedicated units outside school, inspiring kids and responding to the increasing demand for high-quality extracurricular art clubs, of course. 76% of children are looking to take part in art-related activities, art-K’s research shows, and the travel and leisure franchise is very much there for this 76%, bringing 16 years of experience running art clubs to the table and welcoming new franchisees into the network to expand art-K’s life-changing, child-inspiring reach across the UK.

For a taste of life as an art-K franchisee, there are many existing franchisees (and their testimonials) to turn to. Prerna, who runs art-K Northwood, said of finding art-K and making her investment, “When attending the franchise show it was an unexpected surprise to come across art-K and immediately it felt right. After visiting them at their main hub, I knew it was what I wanted to pursue; it will give me independence whilst doing something that gives me joy.”

The ideal art-K franchisee, according to the franchise itself, should be creative, ambitious and passionate about working with children. They should be looking for a new and exciting business opportunity, and willing and ready to run their own business with oodles of franchisor support available to them.

If this sounds like you, know that once you invest you’ll be trained and supported in every possible area, from social media and business training to the development of a personalised business plan and financial forecast to site sourcing support.
