Agency Express has had a busy month following regional increases in properties to let.
Specialist estate agent sign franchise, Agency Express, has been kept busy throughout May and June, as figures show huge increases in ‘to let’ and ‘let’ properties in some areas of the UK.
For the UK as a whole, month-on-month figures in Agency Express’ monthly letting report indicated an increase of properties listed as ‘to let’ of 3.6% and ‘let’ properties of 2% nationwide. Although there were slight decreases in areas such as London, this was a great sign for business within the franchise.
Stephen Watson, Managing Director of Agency Express, commented on the market’s growth throughout the last few months:
“This month we have seen some overall growth for the UK lettings market with some regional pockets recording record bests. As we move forward into a traditionally buoyant period, we would expect to see a further increase in pace.”
Areas that showed the biggest increase included the West Midlands, which reported a 14.4% increase in new listings ‘to let’ and an incredible 31% increase in properties that had been ‘let’. It’s a boost to the already competitive renting market that will benefit their suppliers including Agency Express.
