9Round’s parent company, Lift Brands, has reacquired Snap Fitness in the UK and Ireland from Master Rights.
Thanks to the business move, gym franchise 9Round can now benefit from a higher level of expertise and insight within its support network. Bill Painter, Lift Brands’ Head of Development, EMEA, explained,
“This deal puts us in position to provide franchisees with extra business coaches, property specialists and operational support staff. We’re adding considerably to our infrastructure. We’re financially secure, we can draw on more resources and we’re confident in investing not just in our team, but also in the future development of our business and brands.”
He added,
“We’re really going for it, and attacking the market. Franchisees are already noticing the difference because our consumer marketing team is expanding too.”
With the backing of the impressive Snap Fitness brand behind it, 9Round can now also help its franchisees access better property deals. Landlords are often more inclined to offer their keys to business owners from stable, reliable brands, particularly during times of uncertainty, and 9Round investors now have impressive credentials.
In fact, the franchise has lined up several new gym studio launches for the coming months, and franchisees will be able to take advantage of the high-profile locations. This expansion comes after the business logged new sales records in 2020. It achieved higher numbers of new members in August than in the month of January, which is usually the busiest. Then, the monthly record was broken in September and again in October.
