The main strength offered to new franchisees is Tracy who co owns Micropet with me. Also has a Franchise in Micropet which she started prior to us other Micropet last October. And her diary is nearly full most weeks. This came about by finding the right model on Facebook to advertise, Tracy now’s helps current franchisees post on Facebook using the same model and offers them 24 hrs support. Including regular zoom catch up calls. Tracy’s drive and passion doing this has helped current franchisees start to get more customers.

How do you ensure consistency and service quality across all Micropet franchise territories?

Using the same model across all locations /territories ensures consistency now one franchisee is treated any different.

Within the Franchise we are actively looking for other services to add to Franchisees portfolio pet ultra sound and grooming are a couple I can mention. We ensure all aspects are looked into to ensure 100% safety and compliance for both franchisee and the customer. Each franchisee can do as little or most offerings depending on their preference and do what they are comfortable with.

What training, set up support and ongoing assistance do Micropet franchisees receive?

All courses are arranged by us, email set up, Facebook page set up and added to the Micropet web page. Plus 24/7 support is offered including zoom calls and offer in person meet ups if franchises’s are uncomfortable using zoom / teams.

What practical steps do you take to help franchisees maintain and grow profitability over time?

By assisting in their Facebook posts, it is key to post consistently and on as many local groups as possible.

How do you balance local flexibility with maintaining the Micropet brand identity?

By looking at other service offerings for pets and not just dogs and cats, Tracy has had pet pop ins for chickens and dragons too!

We are having a booking app developed. To enable customers to book anytime.

What are your long term plans for expanding the Micropet franchise network across the UK?

The plan is to become the uk’s household pet service name, and by onboarding more franchisees it will assist us in growing the Micropet brand. The idea is also to not over complicate but offer a flawless service to also customers.
