Watford residents will get to enjoy Tutti Frutti’s delicious frozen treats at a new development, intu.
intu is Watford’s major retail and leisure centre that attracts a huge footfall of visitors. It’s currently undergoing an extension, bringing more leisure facilities, that is set to open later this year. But that’s not all Watford residents can look forward to…
Tutti Frutti, the self-service frozen yoghurt franchise, has just signed up to become a retailer at the centre. Soon, visitors will be able to indulge in a healthy and delicious frozen yoghurt, along with a number of optional toppings. The flavours cover everything from fruity peach, pineapple, kiwi and banana to rich coffee, cookie n cream, peanut butter and mint chocolate. Then, they can top them with some healthy nuts and fruit, or something that feels like more of a treat, such as a brownie or sweets. In fact, there are over 120 flavours and toppings for customers to choose from.
This snack is an obvious choice for the shopping centre, giving people a healthier alternative to other fast food. It is easy to grab and eat while wondering around the shops, and it feels like a treat, which is exactly what shoppers want while browsing the shops. intu is also a particularly attractive place for Tutti Frutti to open, as Tony Mundella, Tutti Frutti’s UK Franchise Sales Director explains. He says, “with its high footfall and attractive offering, heighted by its leisure extension opening this year, intu Watford is the perfect place for our shopping centre retail unit”.
Rebecca Ryman, intu Regional Manager supports this, explaining, “Watford is home to some of the UK’s largest head offices, with companies such as ASOS and TK Maxx headquartered here as well as the award-winning and most visited attraction, Warner Bros Studios. As a result, we’re seeing more and more brands choose the centre for its key location and attractive retail offering”.
Indeed, it is easy to see why Tutti Frutti wanted to gain a stronghold in such a popular area, giving it the opportunity to gain significant exposure.
Tutti Frutti is a global franchise that first started out in California in 2008. The brand’s frozen yoghurt is now sold in 50 countries.
