TaxAssist Accountants franchisees have made their way onto the list of finalists for a 2021 business awards event.

Regional franchisees at the bookkeeping and accounting franchise have been recognised for the Aberdeen and Grampian Chamber of Commerce awards. The 17th annual ceremony will celebrate leading businesses from across the industries based in the north-east of England.

Despite the challenges faced by businesses in 2020, the award organisers received a record 130 nominations. Now, it’s up to the judging panel to review the entries and decide on their winners across the 12 categories. The event, which will be held in partnership with main sponsor Nucore Group, will take place on 11th March 2021 at the P&J Live arena in Aberdeen.

Seona Shand, Membership and Events Director at the Chamber of Commerce, said:

This has been a very difficult year for many businesses, so it has been an inspiring and invigorating process to go through the record number of entries and the many examples of bold businesses creating opportunity in the Aberdeen city region.

While we cannot give them all an award, each of our finalists is truly deserving of recognition for their achievements and I’m looking forward to the awards night in March to help celebrate with all those entrants who have made it on to the most competitive of shortlists. You really are all winners.

TaxAssist’s regional franchisees have been nominated in two categories: Rising Star and Staff Matter. In each award, TaxAssist is up against three other organisations. It’ll be battling it out against Cumming and Co, Hudsons Catering and Nucore Group for Rising Star, and Brimmond Group, Hutcheon Mearns and Texo Group for Staff Matter.
