Subway has announced a tasty addition to its plant-based menu with the arrival of the fully loaded Vegan wrap.

Sandwich franchise subway has launched a brand-new Vegan Signature Loaded Wrap across the UK, which will be a permanent addition alongside the vegan sub and the vegan salad.

Following the incredibly successful launch of the brand-new Vegan Patty and delicious dairy-free vegan garlic aioli earlier this year, Subway has decided to expand its plant-based menu to include a wrap option.

The tempting wrap features a double portion of Subways tasty spicy Vegan Patty, which is packed with sweet red peppers, red onions, fresh spinach, rich garlic and hot chilli, alongside as much salad and sauce that you can pack into the tangy Tomato Basil Wrap.

A spokesperson for Subway said:

"Whether you're veggie, vegan, flexitarian or just fancy a meat-free munch, you'll love Subway's latest lunch offering. Customers may in fact be surprised at how much of the menu at Subway is already suitable for vegans. This includes our crave-worthy Hash Browns, seven of our best-selling sauces including BBQ, Sweet Chilli, and Hot Chilli, the Italian and Hearty Italian breads, and of course our crunchy salads too. At Subway, you can make it what you want, when you want.

The delicious Vegan option joins Subways other filling Signature Loaded wraps, which include the tangy barbeque chicken and bacon wrap and the chipotle southwest steak & cheese wrap.

Subway was founded more than 50 years ago and now has more than 44,000 locations across the globe. It offers a wide range of delicious sandwiches, wraps and salads as well as freshly baked cookies, with its menus now introducing even more choice for those with specific dietary requirements. This includes those who have gluten intolerances, who are now catered for thanks to Subways new glute-free bread.
