Really Awesome Coffee has looked back on a successful year, despite the pandemic’s challenges.
Thanks to the coffee van franchise’s flexible and adaptable business model, it was able to continue operating across the UK through its network of more than 50 mobile cafe vans. When the pandemic struck, the company acted fast to explore new revenue streams, including a home delivery service.
Although the Covid-19 outbreak caused many businesses to suffer, Really Awesome Coffee has recorded an increase in the number of investment enquiries it has received. In fact, it was able to induct eight new franchisees into the network between July and December 2020.
In the first quarter of 2021, Really Awesome Coffee will support the launch of six new UK franchise units, while three existing franchisees expand their businesses with additional vans.
During the franchisee recruitment process, the franchise has been able give prospective investors an insight into life at Really Awesome Coffee with its new, virtual discovery days. It runs the popular events every 10 days on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings, when attendees can take the chance to learn more about the business and ask questions.
