Radfield Home Care’s franchisor has revealed her thoughts on the success of two of her franchisees.
Last month, Radfield Home Care’s Stamford, Peterborough & Rutland branch was crowned Best New Start-Up in the Mercury Business Awards. Its franchisee team, husband and wife James and Stefania Beech, were thrilled to win the prize after just 18 months with the business.
Although the pandemic presented significant challenges to firms in the home care sector, James and Stefania were able to expand their franchise unit, creating multiple jobs in the local area. Last year, the franchisees also won Homecare.co.uk’s Top 20 Home Care Provider of the Year award for the East Midlands Region.
Radfield Home Care’s franchisor, Dr Hannah MacKechnie, gave her take on the couple’s win:
“It has been wonderful to see James and Stefania be recognised for their hard work and commitment to quality care in the Stamford region. They have developed a fantastic business, with a great team of care professionals delivering a high quality service to their clients - as their previous Homecare.co.uk award demonstrates.”
Hannah added,

Last year really demonstrated the resilience of our franchise partners’ care businesses, with many continuing to grow despite the challenges of Covid-19. Franchisee James also spoke about his excitement at winning the award.
“It’s always challenging setting up a business from scratch, but we have done things in the right way and built a loyal following of clients which continues to grow. We constantly get fantastic feedback.”
