Point Franchise is proud to welcome pub chain Punch to its network of high-performing franchises.
If you’ve always wanted to run your own drinking establishment, perhaps this could be the opportunity for you. Pub franchise Punch is on the lookout for savvy, sociable investors to help expand its business across the UK. It currently has a chain of 1,300 sites, which demonstrates the profitability of its business model, but it aims to open its doors in even more locations.
The brand was first introduced in 1997 and gradually grew as the owners took on more pubs and acquired various pub brands. In 2016, Punch established a partnership with Just Eat, and a year later, launched an updated, more efficient online ordering portal, The Punch Buying Club. These two steps allowed the franchise to reach more hungry customers and boost its sales significantly. And last year, Punch invested more than £35 million back into its estate.
If you’d like to become a Punch franchisee, you’ll need to be prepared to invest around £13,000. The pub chain is confident its franchisees can make a great return on investment and see an income of roughly £250,000 after two years of operation.
When you join Punch, you’ll be able to decide whether you’d like to operate with a Managed Ownership, Tenancy or Lease licence. These different options vary in terms of the bills you pay, the support you get and the number of years your contract lasts. For more detailed information about the three licence opportunities, head to the Punch profile page.
Whichever licence you opt for, you’ll benefit from the franchise’s fantastic support programme. The business runs a free induction course called ‘Progress with Punch’, as well as workshops for extra training. You can even learn more on Punch’s online academy, so you’ll never be left in the dark.
