PlumbProud has released a video featuring two of its newest franchisees, who reveal their journey at the business.
With a huge number of people experiencing long-term furlough, redundancies or a desire to change career during the coronavirus crisis, PlumbProud has attracted many new prospective investors. In fact, in the past three months, the franchise has onboarded five new franchisees who enquired about the investment opportunity during the pandemic.
Terry and Frank are the team behind the plumbing franchise’s Ipswich branch. They had no previous knowledge of the industry, but completed their training towards the end of last year and successfully launched their unit in January.
In a video with the pair, Frank explains,
“We have had our first two weeks in business and we are delighted to say we are on track, we have managed to employ our first sales person… we have got our first full-time installer... and we also have a part-time installer.
"We are really excited, it’s really been easy… things are going really well… We just follow the system… By the end of this week we should have our first sale, and really that’s one of the key things about going into business, you want to make some money!”
He added,
"We are excited by it, we’re excited by the brand and we haven’t had a single regret so far about our decision. If anything, we have actually had peace of mind, because Covid is real, and fortunately for us this business model stood up really well to that situation.”
