Papa Johnís has teamed up with Heinz to launch a brand-new pizza that features one of the UKís favourite sauces.

Pizza franchise Papa Johnís has joined forces with the sauce giants Heinz to launch a tasty new offering Ė the Hot Dog pizza.

The exciting, new offering will feature Heinzís beloved tomato ketchup instead of Papa Johnís signature rich tomato pizza sauce, putting a tasty twist on what weíve come to expect from traditional pizza. The new Hot Dog pizza also pays tribute to the classic hot dog, featuring smoked Frankfurt sausages, onions, rich mozzarella and Heinz yellow mustard to add a tangy bite to the flavours.

And everyone will be able to sample the delicious, new pizza no matter what their dietary preferences, as Papa Johnís is also launching a vegan version of the Hot Dog pizza. It will be available from the 15th of May and will also mark the first occasion that a UK pizza chain has offered a vegan meat substitute.

UK Marketing Director, Giles Codd, expressed the franchiseís excitement at its newest launch.

ďWeíre excited to launch our latest partnership with one of the nationís best loved brands and use its iconic Heinz tomato ketchup as the base of our newest pizza. Ingredient innovation is at the heart of our menu and we have worked hard to ensure the ĎThe Hot Dogí is the perfect combination of each flavour. Weíre confident pizza lovers and hot dog fans will be wolfing it down in no time.Ē

And Audrey Dilmi, Marketing Lead for UK Foodservice at Kraft Heinz, explained why its tomato ketchup and Papa Johnís signature pizzas are a match made in heaven.

ďHeinz Tomato Ketchup has been always been a staple for both pizza and hotdog lovers, so it totally makes sense that our good friends at Papa Johnís put it on their delicious Hot Dog pizzas!Ē
