NEXT, one of UK’s leading fashion retailers has outdone themselves this festive season with thousands of original Christmas gift ideas for everyone. With predicted full-year profits of £687m-£747m for 2017, compared with its previous estimate of £680m-£740m, Next is clearly the UK’s fashion and home retail sweetheart. The retailer revealed to the BBC that it had not been affected by the fall in the value of the pound. NEXT chief executive, Lord Wolfson, said: "The wider economic environment, clothing market and High Street look as challenging as ever, and we do not underestimate the task of managing our stores through a period of prolonged negative like-for-like sales.

"Nevertheless, we believe our stores will remain cash generative for many years to come and represent an important asset for the group."

Launched in 1982, NEXT was the first retail store to sell exclusively coordinated collections of stylish clothes, shoes and accessories for women, men and children. The brand boasts its very own design team to offer original and high-quality styles and value for money. NEXT has over 500 stores in the UK and Eire and more than 200 stores in 40 countries across the globe. In 2011 NEXT launched its first fashion, home and garden store in Shoreham-by-Sea and in 2014 it opened 2 stunning out-of-town architecture home and fashion stores in Hedgend and Maidstone. NEXT’s highly profitable franchise business has partners operating 185 stores in 38 countries and its international franchises are growing throughout the Middle East, Europe and the Far East.
