The company’s largest franchisee, Pramod Thankapan, has opened his eighth franchise with the business in County Down, Northern Ireland.
This new location, located close to the waterside in the town of Bangor, will become Camile Thai Kitchen’s third branch in Northern Ireland. Regarding the recent expansion, franchisee Pramod Thankapan said,
“I am delighted to open the new Bangor outlet, which complements my two other branches in Belfast. We have had a really good start, and are appreciative of the extraordinary support we are receiving from the lovely residents of Bangor.”
Alongside Northern Ireland, the franchise is also expanding in South London, and all in all there are now over 40 Camile Thai Kitchen franchise units. The restaurant franchise prioritises healthy home delivery, and is a pioneer in the industry, investing heavily in drone deliveries and kitchen robotics.
Camile Thai Kitchen was founded in 2010 by Brody Sweeney, who also founded the award winning O’Briens Sandwich Bar. Recently, the franchise appointed ex-Restaurant Group CEO Andy McCue as chairman of its board, and with his help, there’s no doubt that the franchise will continue to flourish and grow.
An investment in the healthy, sustainable Thai food delivery company will cost interested parties a minimum of £100,000, with additional franchise fees of £20,000. For this amount, franchisees will be fully supported with:
- Restaurant design and fitout (access to existing relationships with suppliers, full bespoke design service)
- Training (17 different courses, a full marketing toolkit, and much, much more)
- Operational support (regular visits, regular training, marketing assistance)
- Supply chain access (access to existing relationships with suppliers and access to quality ingredients, compostable packaging and Caterday products)
Camile Thai’s perfect franchisee would be hands on and keen to grow, with relevant management experience under their belt. Learn more about investing in a Camile Thai Kitchen franchise.
