Minuteman Press has been celebrating the dedicated women of its franchise who have built successful businesses with its help.

Minuteman Press has been championing the women of its franchise network who have achieved great success over the years. It highlighted Karen Fraielli and Valerie Chanoux, who own the Providence & Warwick Minuteman locations in Rhode Island, as two shining examples of what its possible to achieve by joining the franchise.

The two ambitious women have been business partners for more than 20 years, opening their first Minuteman Press location in Warwick back in 1999. They quickly achieved success and bought their second location of the printing franchise in Providence just three years later in 2002. Speaking about why they chose the franchise as the place to begin their business partnership, Chanoux said:

In looking at different options and franchises, we knew that we wanted a business with longevity, to work on a business to business level with skilled, trained employees. In looking at franchises, Minuteman Press International stood out as fitting those criteria as well as the support that they provided to the owners. Also, the potential customer base was vast in that every business needs some type of printing done.

She thanked the franchise for the support it had given herself and Fraielli over the years and noted that its focus has changed over the years, from offering technical support to more sophisticated measures such as analysis of industry trends.

Chanoux said that the business has grown from just herself, Fraielli and one press operator to a team of 10 dedicated staff, allowing them to offer a huge range of marketing and printing services to customers with turnarounds as quick as the same day.

Fraielli added that they consider themselves part of the community, from her efforts as a community mentor with Rhode Island Mentoring to Chanouxs partnership with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Ron Rubin, Minuteman Press Regional Vice President for New England, said:

Karen and Valerie have been very focused on running the business the way Minuteman Press is designed to run. They dont reinvent the wheel and their hard work has paid off.

Chanoux and Fraielli agreed, concluding,

Our business has grown because of our reputation and through referrals. To say that we have been in business for twenty years is rewarding in itself.
