The event was well-attended by many of Mathnasium’s franchisees, who discussed their experiences, successes and challenges.

Mathnasium is a global brand known for its amazing franchisee support, and the tutoring franchise demonstrated this extremely well with its recent international convention. The convention focused on the sharing of knowledge and experience between franchisees, resulting in many different powerful opportunities for growth.

John Preston, Mathnasium’s UK Master Franchisee, shared his thoughts on the event, saying, “It was absolutely amazing. We only have 13 centres in the UK but there are over 1,100 around the world and the learning they bring makes you realise you’re part of a big community. It’s like having the best possible business mentors – they’re running the same business as you, they want you to succeed and the more we grow together, the more powerful the brand behind our businesses grows too.”

During the convention, break-out sessions took place which covered every aspect of growing a franchise, from launch to multi-site expansion. John continued to describe the experience, expressing that, “There was something for all of us, whichever stage we were at as a franchisee. It included a review of the last 12 months and a preview of the next [year], and covered everything from tech to marketing and business systems. The level of science and educational knowledge that goes into everything is phenomenal. Whether you’re new to Mathnasium or a Master Franchisee, there’s something for everyone there. The convention was brilliant, and because it was recorded we can go back and watch it again.”

This means that for franchisees who are in one position right now, but might be in another in six months, the resources will remain accessible. If a franchisee becomes ready, for example, to watch “a discussion regarding multi-site expansion”, they can do so at a later date.
