LighterLife is celebrating yet another one of its success stories as a woman from Sheffield has managed to shed a whopping 10 stone.

Weight loss franchise LighterLife has shared the story of Holly Hague from Sheffield, who managed to shed half her body weight following its proven plan.

At her biggest, Holly weighed more than 21 stone and was squeezing into size 26 clothes. When discussing how she felt her weight had got out of control, Holly explained how comfort eating and bad habits caused her to put on the pounds.

"I spent my childhood being chunkier than others in my class and far too many years comfort eating to drown out the mean remarks.

However, she struggled to kick her bad habits and it wasnt until her mum took a particularly unflattering photo of her during Christmas 2017 that she decided to make the lifestyle change.

Mum took a picture of me wrapping tinsel around the tree. When I saw it, I asked her to delete it. I was huge, flushed and panting. That was the kick up the backside I needed. On January 1st 2018, I signed up to LighterLife."

Holly was drawn to LighterLife to kickstart her weight loss because it offered a complete meal plan that was easy to follow.

"I didnt have to obsess or worry over the number of calories or if Id unknowingly eaten the wrong thing. Each day Id have four products which were around 800 calories. Breakfast was a Vanilla Shake with coffee, Chocolate Raisin Bar for lunch, followed by a Chicken Noodle FastPot for dinner and a Toffee Bar."

Becoming 10 stone lighter in just 12 months, Holly said that her LighterLife counsellor, Suzanne, helped make the journey so much easier.

"I just loved spending an hour a week focusing on my goals, both with weight loss and in life. My counsellor, Suzanne, has been fantastic - every time I see her its like catching up with an old friend who supports and inspires you. In our group sessions each week we focus on a new topic which uses cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to challenge our thinking and attitudes towards eating."

Holly has maintained her weight loss for more than six months now with a healthy diet (and the occasional bar of chocolate) and thanks LighterLife for helping her change her life.
