Husse has welcomed its newest franchisees, Lyn and Baz Elkin, who will run County Durham’s newest operations.

Husse is expanding its northern operations as it welcomes franchisee team Lyn and Baz Elkin to its network. The pair will operate in Newton Aycliffe, in the south of County Durham, offering nutritious pet food to animal lovers across the area.

While their franchising journey only began three months ago, Baz and Lyn are already confident they’ve made the right choice to join the pet and dog franchise. Baz traded in a career in childcare and Lyn has moved from a part-time role in accounts, showing that people of any background can join the pet care franchise.

Explaining what motivated the pair to join Husse, Lyn said:

“Having looked at many franchises over a period of time, we kept coming back to the Husse franchise. We did a lot of research into the pet food market and being fussy about what we feed our own pets, we realised that no other pet food business has the same hands on caring attitude that Husse has. We believe that we are a company that actually cares what your pet eats and this is reflected in the Husse ethos, using only the highest quality, human grade ingredients which are also GMO free.”

Lyn and Baz are planning to host an official opening soon, which will include a dog show and fun games for the whole community to enjoy. Although their business is still in its infancy, the pair say that they’ve already racked up a good number of customers and are looking forward to growing their business even more.

The Husse franchisees are now able to advise local pet owners on the best food for their pets’ needs, including weight loss and gain solutions and specific allergen free foods.
