The care team at Heritage Healthcare Wakefield and Kirklees has been delighted by positive feedback from Kirklees Council.
The Wakefield and Kirklees branch of the home care franchise was anonymously surveyed, and the results meant that the council was able to recognise the franchise as a five-star service. The survey asked carers working for the branch for feedback on the following: The recruitment process, the provision of initial and ongoing training, and the support provided by management (by the franchisee and, higher up the chain, the franchisor).
Plenty of wonderful comments were received, including one comment which said, “I have worked for many domiciliary care companies and this one outweighs the rest by a mile. I love being part of the Heritage Healthcare team and I feel fully supported in my career and achieving my goals. I wouldn’t want to work anywhere else now and I am proud to represent Heritage by doing the best in my role.”
Another comment dove more deeply into the support provided by the management team at Heritage Healthcare Wakefield and Kirklees, explaining that management is always on hand to offer support when necessary, giving carers “regular supervisions and chats” and providing them with an “on-call phone” for emergencies during out-of-office hours.
