Fastsigns to open new store in York

York will be the location of the latest Fastsigns outlet.

Fastsigns will add to its franchise with its 22nd UK branch due to open in the coming months. The newest addition will be launched in York and offer signage and visual communications to customers, overseeing projects from planning to completion.

The brand provides signage in all its forms including banners, vehicle graphics, backlit signs, menu boards, window, floor and pavement graphics, and traffic signs. The York franchise will offer customers the support of signage specialists and manage surveying, delivery and installation.

John Davies, Fastsigns’ Managing Director, said: “We’re always delighted to see the launch of another centre. The opening of Fastsigns York is especially exciting, as it will be our most northerly centre. The capabilities that Fastsigns York brings to the network will allow us to provide our signage solutions to businesses further into the north of England and southern regions of Scotland.”

The York branch will be managed by Sarah Bradshaw and Ian Ellis, who made the move after serving respectively as Marketing Director and Sales Director at IT solutions company Phoenix Software.

Davies continued, “Sarah and Ian are the perfect team for the centre because, as well as sharing the Fastsigns vision, they also bring a wealth of business expertise with them.”

With more than 30 years of experience in the industry, Bradshaw and Ellis are well-equipped to develop the Fastsigns brand. Whilst the exact location of the new store remains unknown for the time being, it will open its doors to the public in the Spring.

Speaking of her latest business venture, Sarah asserted: “York is a fantastic city, with a burgeoning hub of businesses. We look forward to helping many businesses across York with all their visual communications, marketing and signage needs.”

With an international presence, Fastsigns has over 700 franchises based in nine countries around the world, including the US, Spain, Mexico and Saudi Arabia.
