Fastsigns has helped disadvantaged children across the world by creating food boxes in partnership with Feeding Children Everywhere.

The initiative, which was named Fastsigns Community Giveback, involved workers from across the franchise, from franchisees and their employees to vendors and corporate staff. Together, they weighed and packaged 20,000 meals in 16 assembly lines. With everyone working as a team, the job took just 45 minutes.

Now they’re all boxed up, the meals will be distributed among local children and their families through charitable organisation Feeding Children Everywhere. This association works towards the aim of eliminating hunger in our lifetime, and has enlisted the help of over 760,000 volunteers to assemble more than 126 million meals since 2010.

The non-profit organisation’s Public Relations Manager, Sarah Davila, said:

"Our partnership with Fastsigns creates the opportunity to impact thousands of families struggling with hunger."

The charity event formed part of Fastsign’s Community Giveback Breakfast with a Purpose event during the franchise’s 2020 International Convention in Phoenix, Arizona, which took place between 15th and 18th January.

The signage franchise is pleased to be able to make a difference to vulnerable families. Tracy Lake, Director of Events at Fastsigns International explained:

"Through our Fastsigns Community Giveback Projects, our meeting attendees and vendors come together to support a local cause and make a positive impact in the cities that host our events. We are so grateful for organisations that work to end hunger. With the help of our partners in giving, we were honoured to join Feeding Children Everywhere to help make a dent in hunger for Phoenix and the surrounding areas."

Fastsigns has been in operation since 1985 and now has more than 675 centres across the world, 10 of which are based in the UK.
